Brandscreen appoint new BDM/account manager

Australian-owned demand side platform Brandscreen has appointed Vanessa Gois as BDM/account manager.

Gois has more than 12 years' digital media experience and has worked in roles including Samsung Electronics as applications partner manager, Ninemsn as business development manager, mobile and Ad IQ as account director.

Brandscreen CEO Robert Manning said: "I'm very excited about having Vanessa on the team as she brings a wealth of knowledge as extremely positive and professional approach to building strong relationships with our key partners which will ensure we are able to scale the business at speed through out the region.”

Ten unveils Bachelorette sneak preview

Network Ten has unveiled a sneak peek of the premiere season of The Bachelorette, featuring previous contestant from season two of The Bachelor, Sam Frost.

Frost said: “Knowing the team have scouted the whole country for down-to-earth, genuine guys, it seemed like the right choice. I feel truly blessed to have another chance at love.”

MTV's Video Music Awards most tweeted moment in Aussie TV

MTV's Video Music Awards have received the most volume of tweets in Australian televisiom history, according to the Nielsen TV Twitter ratings.

The awards were broadcast on Monday and accumulated 344,000 tweets - the highest since the ratings were established. Globally it received 47 million tweets from around the world.

MTV Australia and NZ vice president Simon Bates said: “The incredible record breaking VMA tweets from our Aussie fans further enforce us as social leaders within the industry. 

"Our MTV Australia social accounts currently have over 3 million connections and are steadily growing demonstrating our ability to connect and evolve with our youth audience.”

Other Levels parnters with Optimove

Brisbane-based digital marketing platform Other Levels has joined forces with customer retention platform Optimove to boost the way their customers are able to communicate.

The partnership combines OtherLevels' digital messaging formats with Optimove’s ability to personalise campaigns in order to improve the service to major clients such as Coles, InterContinental Hotels Group and SEGA.

It is alliance is a significant step forward for the Queensland company which only launched on the ASX in March this year.
