News Bulletin: AnalogFolk adds 10 staff; Dentsu senior exec retires

AnalogFolk expands following new business wins

AnalogFolk has significantly boosted its team, adding 10 new staff with senior hires including two associate creative directors, an associate strategy director and a tech lead. Senior creative team Jimmy Zimmerman and Alec Jankowski join as ACDs, most recently from CHE Proximity. They have worked on campaigns for major brands like Skittles, LG, Carlsberg, Quaker, Wrigley and McDonald’s. Also joining is associate strategy director Louise Peacock, who most recently led digital and social strategy at VML Sydney on McDonald's Australia. Recent wins at AnalogFolk include the appointment as Jacob's Creek's global creative Agency, global digital and social agency for Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Adobe development and mobile work for HCF.

Dentsu Mitchell senior exec retires

Ron Phillips has retired from Dentsu Mitchell after over 12 years’ service on the Victorian Government and Nissan business. For the past 11 years Ron has held the role of Group Client Service Director on the Victorian Government business. Ron joined Dentsu Mitchell (then Mitchell and Partners) in 2005 to manage the Nissan account after spending 31 years with the Clemenger BBDO network. Dentsu Mitchell has also announced the promotion of Sylvia Pickering to the role of group client service director to lead the Victorian Government team at Dentsu Mitchell.
