72andSunny scores a pearler

72andSunny is now the creative partner for sustainable pearl jeweller Paspaley. 72andSunny managing director Chris Kay says it is a great opportunity for the company to support a local Australian brand. The partnership will see the agency focus on building out Paspaley's local and international presence. The news follows 72andSunny's appointment to the Optus roster, less than one year after the agency officially launched in Sydney. Read more about the agency's creative ambitions down under here.

WhiteGrey MD departs

Another WPP exec is exiting the group with WhiteGrey managing director Andrew Davenport announcing his departure. This is third big exit from the the agency this year, following the departure of joint-CEO Paul Worboys and Miles Joyce. The CEOs have been replaced by M&C Saatchi’s managing partner Lee Simpson. There has been a lot of movement within WPP in the last six weeks, with redundancies at JWT, the exit of Y&R CEO Phil McDonald and a restructure of Ogilvy's creative teams.

Adobe appoints marketing VP

Adobe has appointed Alvaro Del Pozo to the role of VP marketing. He will now lead the company’s marketing strategy throughout APAC. Del Pozo takes over from Marta DeBellis who has returned to the United States to head up enterprise campaign and partner marketing worldwide at the company. Del Pozo will report to Adobe CMO Ann Lewnes and work alongside APAC President, Paul Robson. He previously served as COO of Adobe, while also sitting on the board of digital agency OneAffiniti Australia.
