Chris is joined by Melina Gouveia, who has previously worked in a content role for WPP and as a journalist for Which 50. Melina will take on the title senior journalist.

Chris and Melina complete the editorial team alongside existing senior journalist Josh McDonnell and cadet journalist Mariam Cheik-Hussain.

James Yaffa, publisher of AdNews, says: “We have enjoyed a wonderful five years with Pippa on the team as both digital editor and, for the past year, editor. She has done a sterling job and has delivered so many fantastic initiatives for AdNews that it would be impossible for me to list them here. She brings an upbeat and positive energy to our team and we are thrilled she's not severing all ties with us!

"We are pleased to welcome on board Chris our new team and the look forward to seeing how their combined experience will drive AdNews forward.”

To complete the new line-up of staffers, AdNews has also appointed a junior sales support executive, Kea Pleasance, who will work closely with national head of sales Paul Carroll and events BDM Amanda Wilson.
