Naked Communications Melbourne has bolstered its strategy team with the appointments of Matt Scotten and Aliya Hasan.

Scotten joins from ZenithOptimedia where he was most recently head of strategy as comms director. Scotten has worked on Foxtel, Lion Nathan, Puma and Honda.

Hasan joins from George Patterson Y&R where she was a planner and account manager on brands including the AFL, Spring Valley and Schweppes. He becomes head of strategy.

Naked said the appointments were driven by organic growth. Its clients include 7-Eleven, AB Foods, TAC, Save the Children and Levis.

Naked Communications Melbourne managing director Matt Houltham said: "We’re stoked to have two brilliant misfits join the Naked Melbourne team. They’ll both be instrumental in delivering behaviour changing communications strategy.”

Scotten said: "I'm excited to join the Naked team. I hear everyone gets a free ironic T-Shirt. Further, in terms of innovative business models, they are at the top of the tree and I look forward to expanding their offer in Melbourne.
