Pete Bosilkovski joins Y&R as CEO

Y&R Australia has named former Leo Burnett Sydney boss Pete Bosilkovski as CEO. WPP didn't waste any time announcing the news with Y&R CEO Phil McDonald only announcing his departure yesterday. Bosilkovski resigned from Leo Burnett in February and was tipped to resurface at a WPP agency after his three month period of gardening leave. Read more here.

R/GA ECD exits

R/GA ECD Hamish Stewart is leaving the agency after more than three years. He joined from M&C Saatchi in 2012. Craig Brooks will replace Stewart at R/GA, leaving his post as TBWA deputy ECD.

Y&R CEO Phil McDonald exits

Y&R CEO Phil McDonald has will depart the business after more than 10 years. McDonald has been in the CEO position for just over two years, promoted to the role after Jason Buckley departed in early 2016. He is expected to resurface outside ad agencies, but still in the marketing realm. Read more here.

Coke marketing director exits after 15 years

Lisa Winn, Coca-Cola South Pacific’s top marketer, is exiting the beverage company after 15 years. Winn has responsibility for marketing across the South Pacific region which includes Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Prior to leading the region, she was Coca-Cola’s director of strategic planning for Australia. Read more here.

Ogilvy restructures creative team with new Clemenger hires

Ogilvy Sydney has restructured its creative offering, integrating its social and content teams into the department and hiring former Clemenger execs. Ben Smith and Luke Hawkins worked at Clemenger Sydney for more than three years and now join Ogilvy as creative directors for KFC. Read more here.

Deloitte bolsters creative and digital arm with 40 grads

Deloitte has grown its digital consulting business with the hire of 40 grads this year – a major increase in its usual intake. The hires, with talent in graphic design, developers, software engineers, strategists, digital marketers, data scientists, service and user experience designers, and AR/VR specialists, bring its total headcount to more than 540 people in Australia, making it one of Australia's largest digital consulting businesses. The move is part of Deloitte's efforts to accelerate the growth of its digital and creative business to meet client demand for digital transformation. Read more here.
