It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland this week.

VMLY&R promotes CCO Paul Nagy
Y&R Australia chief creative officer Paul Nagy will lead VMLY&R as regional chief creative officer across Australia and New Zealand as part of a wider creative restructure. Nagy, who joined Y&R in May last year, will now add New Zealand to his remit and take the creative lead for the merged entity of VML and Y&R. Also part of the restructure, global CCO of VML Debbi Vandeven is now global chief creative officer of VMLY&R.

Ogilvy appoints four managing directors
Ogilvy Australia has promoted four of its key leaders across Sydney and Melbourne in a bid to position itself as the "agency of the future". Sally Kissane and Michelle Holland have both been elevated to managing directors for Ogilvy Sydney, after working together as managing partners for three years. In Melbourne, Gavin MacMillan and Michael McEwan also become managing directors following three years in the roles of managing partners. Ogilvy Australia CEO and WPP AUNZ chief transformation officer David Fox says the agency is heading into its fourth consecutive year of growth and deeper management is now required.

Mamamia names Foxtel marketer Rob Farmer as group director
Former Foxtel marketer Rob Farmer has been named as Mamamia's group director of marketing and partner solutions. Farmer previously worked at Foxtel for more than five years, finishing up in 2017. He will take on responsibility for B2B and B2C marketing, research and insight, in-house design and commercial content solutions for partners, across Mamamia, Social Squad and new ventures.

BBDO Europe appoints veteran Jim Moser chairperson
BBDO has shuffled its regional management structure naming agency veteran Jim Moser as the chairman of BBDO Europe. Moser is currently the chairperson of Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne and was the CEO of Clemenger New Zealand for more than 10 years before stepping down in September this year. He has also previously led Clemenger Sydney, New Zealand and Melbourne. Moser will relocate to AMV BBDO's offices in London next year.

PHD names Tony McKay as group business director for CUB
PHD Melbourne revealed Tony McKay as its new group business director on the Carlton & United Breweries account. He will lead the business across Australia, Vietnam and India. McKay has previously been in leadership positions across MKTG and Mitchell & Partners but started his career as media assistant on the CUB accounts at Patts. His appointment is effective immediately and he reports to PHD Melbourne general manager Simon Lawson.

72andSunny director Mollie Hill exits
72andSunny Sydney director of strategy Mollie Hill has departed the business after just 18 months. Hill previously worked at The Monkeys in the same role for more than a year and has also been at Ogilvy Brasil and Wieden + Kennedy. Hill was one of 72andSunny's first staff members when it opened its doors in early 2017. It's unclear where she will go next.

Starcom's Penny Shell named as OMD head of product and national head of planning
OMD Australia appointed Starcom head of strategy Penny Shell as its new head of product and national head of planning. She will lead the OMD Melbourne product and will be responsible for implementation planning approach nationally. While her previous role was with Starcom for three years, she has also worked at Ikon Communications, Nike and Mitchell. Shell will report to OMD Melbourne managing director Dianne Richardson and OMD Australia chief strategy officer Gavin Gibson and starts 3 December.

The Brand Agency boosts creative team
The Brand Agency has added two new members to its creative team with the hire of Paulina Hobbs as art director and Anneliese Sullivan as copywriter. Hobbs, who has previously worked at agencies such as Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne and Sydney, specialises in digital. She has previously been art director at Meerkats. Sullivan, an up-and-coming creative, also previously worked at Meerkats in Western Australia for two years.

Thinkerbell appoints first full-time Sydney employee
Georgia Cavanagh has been added to the PR team at Thinkerbell. Cavanagh has previously been at TRIBE as the account director for seven months and spent more than three years altogether at the agency. She has also worked at Haystac and Bella PR. The appointment of Cavanagh is the first full-time employee the agency has had in its team.
