It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland this week.

Anna Vergaki announced as performance director for Bohemia

Bohemia, part of the M&C Saatchi Group, has hired Anna Vergaki as its performance director. Prior to this role, Vergaki worked at Columbus, Reprise Media and Mindshare. She has worked across a variety of clients including Burberry, Optus, Citibank and Hyundai. At Bohemia, Vergaki will be responsible for managing one of Bohemia's performance media teams; providing client and team leadership across all performance channels.

GPJ Australia makes three senior creative appointments

GPJ Australia has appointed three new seniors to boost its creative department. Bim Ricketson has been appointed executive creative director, Glenn Whitehead, the creative director and Jessica Quiney as creative strategist. Prior to this, Ricketson worked with Imagination as the creative director for over three years and was also the creative strategist at Cievents. In the past, Ricketson has worked with big brands like Telstra, Samsung, Volkswagen, CBA and Emirates. In his career of 15 years, Whitehead has worked with brands including Google, HP, SAP and Vericon, to name a few. Quiney joins GPJ with local and international experience. Her previous roles at Breakthrough Media, Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide in London, along with her exposure in not-for-profits, banking, fashion and commercial sectors will provide the company with further insights. These appointments continue GPJ’s success this year, adding Invictus Games Sydney 2018, Yonex, Intuit, Genesis Care, and SIBOS to its client portfolio.

Fairfax Media appoints head of finance & banking

Fairfax Media has appointed Anthony Dumont to overlook advertising in the finance and banking department for Australian Metro Publishing (AMP). Dumont will look after The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review, Brisbane Times, WAtoday and more. Dumont holds over 10 years of experience in marketing roles for Mastercard across Australia and New Zealand. Last year, Fairfax's commercial teams were reshaped with a vertical focus for the business, government, luxury and lifestyle sectors. Philippa Walker and Oliver Peagam recently joined the commercial team, handing the travel and automotive verticals.

Priya Patel appointed as managing director for DDB

DDB Sydney has named Priya Patel as managing director following the departure of Nicole Taylor earlier this year, AdNews can reveal. Patel was previously the managing director of Y&R in London for just over a year, working her way up in the business from 2007. She has been consulting at David Jones for the last 10 months, leading the creative pitch at the retailer, after moving to Australia alongside partner Russell Hopson who joined M&C Saatchi last year. Read more.

Geraldine McDonagh exits Zenith Australia

Zenith Australia's chief digital officer Geraldine McDonagh has exited after serving four years at the agency. McDonagh was promoted as the head of digital operations after 12 months at Zenith and went on to become the chief digital officer in 2014. She has also held roles at Mindshare and Starcom. Her role will not be replaced but the group has promoted Mark Johnson, who was previously head of performance. Prior to Zenith, Johnson was group director of digital at MediaCom for three years, along with several other roles within the GroupM agency. Read more.
