What would you do for love? This is the question posed by the international arm of Australian brand Michael Hill with its 30 second ad in the 49th NFL Super Bowl.

The ‘We’re for Love’ campaign, created in partnership with Colenso BBDO, highlights love and its many forms, by sharing real love stories captured on the streets of New York.

The jewellery brand grabbed more than 1,200 people off the streets of New York and asked them all about love. The resulting video looks at what real people think about love and what they would do for it.

Michael Hill International’s CMO, Joe Talcott, said: “The NFL Super Bowl XLIX is a huge event attracting a massive audience both in the USA, Canada and across the globe. Television advertising has always been a key part of the Michael Hill business strategy.

“Super Bowl offers us a unique opportunity to showcase our brand in front of millions of people. We’ve been working on this campaign for over a year now and have invested a substantial amount in the development of the platform – so to be able to launch it in key markets during the Super Bowl is very exciting.” Talcott said.
