Mindshare’s chief strategy officer Joe Lunn has been appointed chair of the MFA Awards.

Lunn has been on the MFA Awards committee for the past two-and-a-half years and takes over from Greg Graham, who has recently stepped into a project director role with the AANA.

“There’s never been a more important time to highlight the contribution media agencies make to building brands and driving business growth,” Lunn said.

“It’s a period of massive change, but we have a great team in the awards committee, who just want to see world class work coming out of Australia. I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on this role and to be a part of helping our industry do the best possible job of celebrating work that works.”

The 19th annual MFA Awards will be held at the Royal Hall of Industries on the 19 October
2017.

The MFA Awards grand prix sponsor is RED. Major sponsors include AANA, ASB, Facebook, MOVE, Nine Entertainment Co and OzTAM. The IAB is a supporting sponsor, distinguished sponsors include ARN, Lion, Media I, MPA, Nielsen Media, SMI, Val Morgan and Wink Models. AdNews is the media partner and UnLtd is the charity partner.

Tickets can be purchased via the MFA website.
