Mediavest has won the Kraft Heinz media account following a competitive pitch. Kraft Heinz has annual billings of about $14 million.

Mediavest national MD Sue Squillace says the brand's collaborative approach is what the agency strives to work with.

"Our launch proposition of collaboration through partnerships has continued to deliver results and we could not be happier to be working with Kraft Heinz in the new year," she says.

"Its portfolio of brands and collaborative approach is the exact type of partnership we strive for at Mediavest. We look forward to delivering future-driven communication platforms and ideas for the Heinz brands and customers.”

The win comes the same day Publicis Media stablemate Starcom lost the Mars media buying business to MediaCom.

Publicis Media chief operating officer Chris Nolan said: “Publicis Media is designed to ensure that our agency brands are equipped to help clients grow in a disrupted and challenging market.

"We are privileged to work with Heinz that has an incredible history in Australia, having established some of Australia’s most recognised brands."

The Kraft Heinz win follows a string of new business wins by Mediavest, including Ezibuy, AGL Digital, EA Games, National Hearing Care and Foodworks. The agency also recently retained Diageo following the alcohol brand’s global agency review.
