Maxus picks up Uniqlo

By Brendan Coyne | 10 June 2014

Uniqlo has appointed Maxus as its media agency, AdNews understands.

The Japanese clothing giant is building a retail footprint in Melbourne and Sydney as it bids to replicate global success for affordable fashion.

The brand is also on the hunt for a creative agency with a number of firms bidding for the business

Uniqlo also recently appointed VML to handle its digital account.

Update: This story originally suggested that Ikon may have pitched for the account. The agency wishes to make it clear that is not the case.
