Maxus Worldwide has launched a technology consulting division in an effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its client's technology spend.

The division will be led by global CIO David Kaganovsky, director of technology Gary Revenson and chief strategy officer Damian Blackden.

Blackden explains the consultancy will evaluate each component in a client’s technology stack to maximise return on investment, with the aim of unleashing a higher proportion of budget on media buying.

“Brands have seen their investment in marketing technology soar and as the media landscape has changed they have naturally sought our advice, which we have given,” Kaganovsky says.

"The launch of Maxus Technology Consultancy is a codification of this service and will offer CMOs a defined and defensible business case for any marketing technology investment. And as part of WPP and GroupM, Maxus is well placed to deliver this advice."
