Whybin creative duo Matty Burton and Dave Bowman are leaving Whybin TBWA to set up shop with Lindsey Evans' Special Group.

The former Campaign Palace boss has tempted the ECDs to join her latest venture with an equity stake.

Whybin TBWA boss Paul Bradbury said he was sorry to see the two go, and said he wished them well with the venture.

Burton and Bowman were behind award winning work for NRMA and M&J Bale.

They had been with Whybin TBWA for four and a half years.

Evans also had a stint top marketer at Pacific Brands and also spent some months running TBWA in London.

She bought the New Zealand-based Special Group to Australia in June.

Bowman and Burton will work at Whybins until December before moving to the Special Group's Sydney office.
