Lynn Chealander, VP ANZ at VivaKi, which now falls under the Publicis Media umbrella, is leaving the business after nearly five years.

Chealander, who is a well-known industry voice and has spoken at events such as the Media Summit, will join CoLab Media Consulting which was recently founded by former Guardian Australia commercial director Duncan Arthur and ex-Rubicon country manager Adele (Hanzlicek) Wieser.

Speaking to AdNews, Wieser says: “Lynn is always someone Duncan and I have held in a high regard and her extensive experience on the buy-side will strengthen and grow the CoLab offering in market. We're absolutely thrilled to be welcoming her to the team.”

Chealander will be joining the Sydney-based business in late August this year as a principal consultant for CoLab – which Wieser said has been going from strength to strength since launching earlier this year. Its clients, from Australia and New Zealand, include the likes of Fairfax NZ, Domain, KPEX and The Remarkables Group.

“We've had a really encouraging start and the momentum has continued from there,” Wieser said.

“From publishers to technology vendors, and all the way through to advertisers, we've been working on a varying array of projects in both the direct and programmatic space. It's been such an exciting year for us and we cannot wait to take our business to new heights with the help of Lynn.”
