The French-founded jewellery and watchmaker has made its first foray into the big screen.

Backing the notion that there's bang for your buck in big screen advertising, 1847-founded Cartier is currently appearing in cinemas for the very first time. The campaign aims to highlight the brand’s unique watch-making style and blend of “boldness, passion and elegance” of its male watch range.

Spearheaded by Val Morgan, the Cartier 'Shape your Time' ad takes audiences on a journey into Cartier time, from the first inventions to the latest concept watches.

Val Morgan, which says it is targeting affluent consumers at key discerning cinema locations nationally, said it delivered the luxury Cartier brand access to a luxury environment, surrounded by premium brands that inspire consumers on their path to purchase.

Cartier’s on-screen campaign has already benefited from the success of the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s best-selling Gone Girl, which has been a hit at the box office and looks set to continue to generate big business in the coming weeks.
