SYDNEY: Lindt Australia has commissioned DraftFCB to create its first dedicated ad campaign for the Australian market, marking a departure from its usual practice of asking local agencies to adapt international work.
The campaign will back the roll out of the company's Swiss Gold Chocolate range, which has extended DraftFCB's responsibility beyond simply tweaking international campaigns for Australian audiences. The new product is Lindt's first foray into the block chocolate category.
Lindt Australia, marketing director, Julie Ahern, said: "We were happy to extend the trust we have in DraftFCB's intimate knowledge of our brand, gained over the years of working together, by giving them the opportunity to create one of only a few Lindt TVCs developed outside Europe."
DraftFCB Sydney creative director Simon Edwards, said: "Our 'Maitres at Work' campaign focuses on the 'sharing' proposition. It captures and demonstrates the sharing process of making the Swiss Gold product.
"We're shooting in Vienna, Austria, this week, working in collaboration with the great directors that Lindt trust and rely on to develop highly appealing and appetising commercials."
The TV campaign will launch nationally in the week commencing 18 July.
