LG Electronics is pitching its creative account with two agencies said to be vying for the business, AdNews understands.

M&C Saatchi and Havas Village are said to be the last two agencies fighting it out for the business.

The account has been with Y&R Group for nine years but AdNews understands the incumbent declined to pitch.

LG is understood to have reduced its media and marketing spend in recent years.

The pitch is said to be wrapping up at the end of the month, and is part of a three year mandatory review of all agency arrangements by the electronics company.

All agencies contacted declined to comment. LG could not comment at the time of publishing.
