Lexus creative account in play

Lexus is reviewing its agency arrangements with Oddfellows and Saatchi & Saatchi set to defend their chunks of the business.

It is thought that the Toyota-owned brand is looking to consolidate its activity with one lead agency. While the the loser is likely to remain on the roster, as the automaker is traditionaly highly loyal to its agency partners, it could mean a vast reduction in scope.

Saatchi and Saatchi and Dentsu-owned Oddfellows currently split the business across the roster. Neither would comment on whether the business was in play and Lexus marketing chief Adrian Weimers could not be reached for confirmation.

But it is understood the review, while at an early stage, has commenced and that there are a number of big agencies that don't already have automotive clients looking to muscle in.

It is thought that Lexus is not looking to review media at this time.
