In partnership with MediaCom, and supported by Commtract, Lessons In Leadership will bring together the most senior leaders across the advertising and media businesses who will share their stories, wisdom and tricks of the trade.

Lessons in Leadership will be opened with a keynote speech by the formidable business woman, marketer, entrepreneur and author, Janine Garner.

There will be a strong focus on successful people management; how to bring together the strongest and most inspired workforces, and how this is essential to generating robust, long-term business outcomes.

Three CEOs will share three different leadership methods; one retired CEO will reflect on their journey to the C-suite - with none of the lows erased; while a gang of emerging talent (chosen from our Top Emerging Leaders list due out next month), will brainstorm the future of our industry and how the attributes of a leader will need to change in 15 or 20 years' time.

On top of that, there will be a special presentation where MediaCom Sydney GM Ben McCallum will reveal the leadership lessons he has learned from his sporting heroes.

Program highlights:

Session One: 3 CEOs - 3 Paths to Success – featuring MediaCom CEO Willie Pang, M&C Saatchi CEO Jaimes Leggett, and Leo Burnett CEO Melinda Geertz.

Special Video Feature: One retired CEO (to be named soon) will reveal their journey to the C-suite and reflect on their career, with none of the lows erased. This will be a truly insightful interview.

Session Two: What a Leader of the Future Looks Like – with our three AdNews-nominated Emerging Leaders (chosen from our soon-to-be revealed list of 30). This session will be moderated by MediaCom global executive creative director, Gemma Hunter.

Special Session: "What My Sporting Heroes Taught Me About Leadership" with MediaCom Sydney GM Ben McCallum. Entertaining and informative in equal measure – this promises to be a very special session indeed.
