By AdNews | 2 February 2017

Entries have now been counted and we're pleased to say we had more entries than ever before for the AdNews Agency of the Year Awards, yet again. It says a lot about the confidence in the work and the businesses across Australia.

Ticket sales for the event are already open to get a jump on things and reserve a slot. With more entries than ever this year, don't leave it too late!

Four new awards will be judged for the first time; People and Culture, Bespoke/In-House Agency; Production Agency and Brand of the Year. The judges will be looking at agencies' performance and their internal culture as well as the quality of work and ideas.

Live judging is set to complete on the 15 February and the finalists will be announced on the 16 February. Get your tickets early.

We can also reveal a handful of the highly esteemed judges on the panel this year. Judges come from clients including Louise Eyres from ANZ bank, Nestle CMO Therese Kallie, Woolworths CMO Andrew Hicks, Foxtel 's Rob Farmer, Tourism Australia CMO Lisa Ronson, Westpac's Toby Dewar, Airbnb's Ben Hallam and McDonald’s CMO Jenni Dill.

On the agency side we welcome senior leaders including David Nobay from Marcel, TBWA CEO Paul Bradbury, Michael Canning at M&C Saatchi, OMD CEO Aimee Buchanan, Paul Swann from The Works and Steve Coll from With Collective.

The event is on the 9 March at the Star Sydney, where our partner realestate.com.au will present the 2016 Agency of the Year and this year's Hall of Fame will be announced.

Tickets are on sale now. Since we're turning 30, it's only right to throw a birthday party so the black tie event will have a pop of colour this year as we celebrate the changing face of the creative industry.

Our presenting partner is realestate.com.au and Twitter is our engagement partner. Our supporting sponsors include Adshel, Facebook, iknowho, Nova Entertainment, Snapchat, The Trade Desk, Think TV, Val Morgan. Associate sponsors are Adstream, BlueStarWeb and Royal Auto.
