Aussie singer, actress and Cowboys fan Jessica Mauboy is fronting a Fox Sports campaign to launch its new rugby league channel, Fox League.

The campaign, which uses the tag line 'everyone's team deserves to be seen', was created by TBWA Sydney.

The spot aims to highlight how rugby league fans will be able to watch their favourite team wherever they are – even at one of Mauboy's gigs - as Fox League will be made available to stream for Foxtel Play and Foxtel Go subscribers.

Mauboy, a North Queensland Cowboys tragic, makes fun of supporters of other clubs; from a safe distance calling the bulldogs, 'puppies'.

“If you're into NRL like me, and think that the might JT should be our next prime minister, then you should be able to watch your team play everyone round live,” she says.

TBWA CEO Paul Bradbury says Mauboy was the ideal league fan to front the campaign.

“Jessica Mauboy’s passion as an NRL fan (and Cowboys fan) was on full display for this campaign, and most Australian's are fans of Jess, so she was the perfect person to spread the word of the launch of Foxtel's Fox League channel. Jess may appear sweet but her love of the North Queensland Cowboys can change all that in an instant.”

The launch of a Fox League channel follows the successful Fox Footy channel, that this year will add coverage of the inaugural women's AFL competition.

“This week we kick off our 2017 winter sport season spearheaded with exciting the news of our upcoming Fox League channel that will feature non-stop rugby league programming,” Foxtel director of brand marketing Rob Farmer says.

“The news comes alongside our new sport campaign that reminds Australians that Foxtel is the place to be to catch the most comprehensive coverage of live sport anywhere.”
