IPG Mediabrands' digital full-service media unit Reprise has developed two new senior roles following a slew of new business wins, as the agency continues to expand locally.

Marcelo Andrade has been appointed as national head of strategy, and Jodie Palmer has been named client advisory director for Reprise’s Adelaide-based business. Both are newly created positions.

Andrade was previously head of strategy at Starcom Sydney servicing clients including Samsung, Visa, Metcash and Subaru. Prior to Starcom, Andrade was the digital strategy director at OMD on the McDonalds business.

“We are delighted that Marcelo’s talents and experience fit our criteria for this vital role. More importantly, his values of curiosity, focus on outcomes and integrated thinking fit well with Reprise’s ambitions," Reprise Australia CEO Dr Grace Liu says.

“Bringing Jodie’s experience and expertise to our Adelaide-based business not only signals our commitment to growth in South Australia but also sets a new level of capability and leadership in this important growth market.”

Palmer will principally lead Reprise’s business relationship with the Government of South Australia. She previously held a senior client strategy role at Starcom Adelaide.

Reprise's appointment to the media panel for the South Australia Government was a big win for the agency, which also added stationary business Artline and Monash University to its portfolio this year.
