Just over two months.

In one sentence, how would you describe what the company does?

An AI-powered technology company specialising in audience insights, targeting and measurement, on a mission to help brands grow.

What do you do day to day?

My role at Quantcast is to support the business’ growth by empowering a customer driven team to deliver the most effective AI-driven advertising solutions across all stages of the customer journey, working with Australia’s biggest advertisers and agencies.

Define your job in one word

Dynamic.

I got into advertising/ad tech/marketing etc because:

I wanted a role in a creative industry that was going to maintain my curiosity and drive my passion to solve business problems.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role?

Just over two months in, my biggest challenge is still getting my head around all the acronyms of the business and the wider industry.

What’s the biggest industry-wide challenge you’d like to see tackled?

In an era of measurement and effectiveness, how have ‘influencers’ managed to avoid the scrutiny that other paid channels have endured.

McCann, Smart, Lowe, DDB.

Who is/has been a great mentor to you and why?

I’ve been lucky to connect with many experienced people in seeking out their feedback and input but some of the best advice has come from true friends who really understand me and simply call it how they see it without any expectation.

Words of advice for someone wanting a job like yours?

Stay curious. Read everything you can get your hands on so that you can form your own opinions and have the information to support them.

If I wasn't doing this for a living, I'd be:

An architect.

My mantra / philosophy is:

Be fearless.

Starburst also makes me laugh and advertising should entertain and engage.

Music and TV streaming habits. What do you subscribe to? (Spotify/Netflix etc)

It’s a bit cliched but I love going for a run listening to Spotify’s Motivation Mix. My favourite show right now is VEEP on Foxtel.

Tell us one thing people at work don’t know about you?

I have a farm in Croatia should I ever decide to move there.
