Ooh! Media, Nova, Seven, Google, the SMH and Australian Women's Weekly top the AdNews and Roy Morgan Media Benchmark Study in their respective channels.

In the report, which surveys media professionals on both sides of business, Google came out on top in terms of professionalism, media knowledge, innovation, negotiation skills and collaboration, as ranked by the rest of the industry. Nine Entertainment was the runner up. The report outlines the top five media companies in each category; magazines; newspapers; online; outdoor; radio and TV. The full lists can be found in the report.

The annual report benchmarks agencies and media companies against their peers – as judged by those who know.

It looks at the trends media agencies and media companies are most concerned with facing over the coming months, and gives a unique insight into what the market is thinking.

To find out what the industry thinks of your business - and which companies and agencies are best respected and where their strengths are seen to be, the Roy Morgan AdNews Media Benchmark Study has the answers.

The awards are based on the findings of the Media Benchmark survey, carried out by AdNews earlier this year, and also counts towards the AdNews Media Company Rankings.

The report was presented at the AdNews Media Summit last week. It is available to purchase here
