Havas Media ups data and content chops with two hires

Havas Media has appointed a head of content and head of data to raise the agency's expertise in those areas.

Mark Campbell, former national director of LiquidThread, Starcom's global content division, will take the content post while Rogan Gilhespie, who has relocated from Havas Media UK, where he launched the Data planning, digital CRM and analytics teams, will lead the agency’s data capabilities.

Campbell also has a raft of experience client side with Land Rover, Jaguar, Unilever, Nestle, Pepsi, Ford, Samsung and Optus.

Rogan has been in place for over a month, and his additional data know-how is thought to have played a role in the agency's win of QBE.

Both will work within the Havas Village construct to integrate media, digital, creative and PR accross clients.

Havas Media has been in market for 18 months, its local clients include Dubai Tourism, QBE and Ubisoft
