Global Diageo and Mars marketers to speak at AANA

Diageo's global CMO, Syl Saller is to speak at the AANA2015 RESET conference in October. Also on the line up is Bruce McColl, Mars global CMO.

Saller, who formerly led the spirits company’s global innovation unit now oversees all marketing, design, innovation, R&D and its luxury division for Diageo's 400 brands, including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Guinness.

Sunita Gloster, CEO of the AANA, said: “AANA Members asked us to deliver an event that rivalled the quality of RESET 2014. So we’ve put together a world class line-up to challenge, inspire, and disrupt their thinking as they prepare for the coming year. Our seven global speakers will absolutely deliver on challenging marketers across many aspects of their expanding remit.”

McColl leads Mars global marketing strategies with a focus on blending scientific rigor with creative excellence.

Also on the line up is MediaCom UK's CEO Karen Blackett, who controls £1.2bn of media billings, manages more than 1000 people and led £119m of new business wins in 2014.

Ogilvy & Mather China's chief creative officer, Graham Fink, is the fourth name announced. FInk was the youngest ever D&AD chair in 1996.

The Sydney conference takes place on 28 October.
