Match Media has brought three new directors on board, in the strategy, search and social specialist areas.

Richard Chataway joins Match from UM, where he was director of behaviour change strategy. Prior to UM, he spent two years in communications planning with the Central Office of Communications and, before that, he was media director at PHD.

Rachida Murray is Match's new search director, joining after two years as search account director at Ikon Communications. Murray has also previously worked at OMD and at Arena in the UK.

Tim Newman, former head of digital marketing and social media at Telstra New Zealand, has been appointed social director at Match. He has also worked as a director of SeeDomains and as social media director at PHDiq, a division of the PHD network.

James Simmons, director and partner at Match Media, said: “These hires have come off the back of both strong new business but also extending our remit and services across current clients.”

Recent wins for Match have included Platinum Asset Management and Sunbeam.
