*Updated* Foxtel is pushing its creative agencies in Clemenger and CHE Proximity to help with a push into dynamic creative.

It was previously understood after comments made by Foxtel's head of digital Chris Smith at ADMA's Techmix event in Sydney, that it had a formal RFP in the market, with a focus on data, Foxtel's media platforms, and an agency which can help develop dynamic creative using Foxtel's tech stack.

"We've got the tech stack internally to buy a lot of our media through multi-channels -  I think what we should have done a lot earlier is bring our creative agency on that journey with us as well," he said.

"What we are finding is that in a lot of the cases, creative leads what data we should be using, whereas data should lead the creative. That's something we're working towards."

AdNews understood that there was an RFP is for an agency to compliment Foxtel's roster, which currently consists of Clemenger Sydney, CHE Proximity as well as Isobar, which is responsible for digital.

* However, Foxtel has moved to clairify the comments, with Smith telling AdNews the request for work was from its existing agencies rather than any new agencies.
