Foxtel Media revealed its line up of brands signed up as partners for FOX SPORTS 2020 NRL Telstra Premiership and Toyota AFL Premiership.

The 2020 dual-code sponsors include Sportsbet, McDonald’s, KFC, Harvey Norman, Coca-Cola, Ford, Chemist Warehouse, Beam Australia, Workwear Group (Hard Yakka), Toyota, Ashley and Martin and Steel Blue Boots.

The 2020 NRL season exclusive partners include returning brands Bundaberg Rum and Bailey Ladders.

Exclusive AFL partners include BetEasy, NAB, Xero, Pepper Mayo, Yates, Under Armour, Steel Blue Boots, Tradies Workers and Union Super.

"These partnerships, with top Australian and international brands, really show the power of FOX SPORTS," says Martin Medcraf, Foxtel sales and brand partnerships director.

"We are thrilled to welcome our 2020 partners so far and expect to see more brands join us across the codes in the coming weeks - we really are the number one platform for sports advertising.

"Our power brands, FOX LEAGUE and FOX FOOTY, consistently rate as the two top Foxtel channels during the winter code timings.”

In 2019, FOX LEAGUE and FOX FOOTY delivered a total channel reach of 5.4 million, with combined live matches reaching 4.8 million, according to OzTAM.

Kayo subscriber numbers are also expected to surge as Foxtel’s sports streaming service kicks off its winter sports marketing push with a campaign featuring NRL players Alex Glenn and Luke Keary, as well as AFL players Dion Prestia and Sam Walsh.

The sports streaming paltform is the engine room of subscriber growth at Foxtel. News Corp, releasing its latest quarterly results, says Kayo now has 372,000 users, with 350,000 of them paying subscribers, compared to 42,000 a year ago.

“Every game of every round of the 2020 NRL Telstra Premiership and Toyota AFL Premiership will be broadcast live on Foxtel and available to stream on Foxtel GO, Foxtel Now and Kayo, resulting in a highly engaged and receptive audience," says Medcraf.

"As well as every AFL and NRL game, fans can follow all the live action from the Formula OneTM, Supercars, Super Rugby, The Masters, Wimbledon and the NBA Finals. Kayo is also running a 14-day free trial which is drawing in a lot of new viewers."
