Foxtel has appointed Hilary Perchard as chief customer, marketing and revenue officer.

Perchard joins Foxtel from global interactive entertainment company Activision Blizzard where he was chief revenue officer.

He has also previously worked at Fox Networks Group in the US as president for strategy, revenue and marketing, digital and direct-to-consumer.

“Hilary’s appointment provides an opportunity to build on the momentum we have created with a fresh, international perspective that continues to deliver our loyal, premium customers the best of TV and on-demand, all in one place,” says Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany.

“Foxtel remains our core business within what is now a much larger, more diversified media company.

“This includes our rapidly growing Kayo and Binge streaming services and our successful advertising business, Foxtel Media. Hilary will have end-to-end responsibility for all customer interactions, including Foxtel residential and commercial sales, customer service, loyalty, creative services, marketing and publicity.”

Perchard replaces Kieren Cooney who departed the media business to join TPG Telecom as group executive consumer.

“Since joining us two and a half years ago, Kieren has played a key leadership role in resetting the strategy for our premium Foxtel business, transforming the operating model for sales, service and marketing and putting in place an outstanding team,” Delany says.

“Foxtel is stronger today, delivering a better proposition to our customers, because of Kieren’s contribution and I thank him for his support.’
