Saucy Denise

What does an extra sachet of sauce on your meat pie mean? It was once one of the many imponderables of Australian life.

What does it mean when an office worker only gets one sachet, and the tradie gets two?

We didn't know, but now we do, thanks to the Australian institution that is Four 'N Twenty.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has harnessed the universal truth that tradies get the ladies in its latest spot for the Patties-owned brand.

In this case, the tradie gets Denise. The suit still gets a pie and sauce. The watching public is now aware of the clandestine code between pie server and customer. Everyone's a winner.
