Former Seven executive jailed for $8 million fraud

Former Seven Network executive John Michael Fitzgerald has been jailed after pleading guilty to an $8 million fraud. 

In the NSW District Court, Fitzgerald was sentenced to five years with a non-parole period of three years. 

The former commercial manager for programming used fake invoices to siphon off the money over three years to 2016, using the proceeds to buy property and other assets including shares.
