Unruly was bought by News Corp 12 months ago for $125 million. Co-founder and CEO Sarah Wood calls herself an “accidental entrepreneur". Now at the forefront of digital video, she is one of the leading women on the global tech scene.

“I don’t think it’s an existential threat to marketers because they have many ways they can reach their audiences, but it is an existential threat to a free and open internet. Much of the internet is ad funded and so publishers are naturally concerned about it. I think everyone is right to be concerned, but it’s not enough to be worried.

"This is an opportunity to take action and reassess the value chain. For too long, our industry has taken for granted the attention of the user and now brands and publishers really have to think about the value and the experience they provide.”
