Bauer Media’s general manager of publishing Fiorella Di Santo has resigned.

Di Santo began her career at Bauer Media in 2016 as sales director where she led the integration of the print and digital advertising sales team. Prior to her role at Bauer she spent 20 years at News Corp Australia.

Di Santo moved into the GM role in September last year as part of a reshuffle at the media company which came with the closure of BauerWorks. At the time, Di Santo was one of the two new GM of publishing.

Her resignation follows news this week that Cosmopolitan Australia will close at the end of this year.

Di Santo says being part of the team that reached milestones such as Australian House and Garden’s 70th birthday and Harper’s Bazaar's 20th anniversary have been highlights.

“I’ve enjoyed my time at Bauer, working on beautiful brands and learning from some of the most creative and talented people in the industry,” Di Santo says.

“Now feels like the right time to do other things. I wish the Bauer team every success for the future."
