Fiat launches media review

Italian car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler has begun a review of its media buying and planning across the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.

This year, Maxus was behind a novel Jeep campaign that involved giving away a piece of Australian land.

In Australia, Fiat Chrysler is one of the larger clients of GroupM's Maxus, which won the account from Davinci Selectwork in 2010. Maxus also handles the Fiat business across Europe and the UK.

In 2013, then Maxus chief operating officer Mark McCraith joined Fiat to become marketing director before returning to the agency as CEO last year.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is the world's seventh largest car maker by volume and has Fiat, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Alfa Romeo in its stable.
