McDonald’s continues to bolster its marketing team, with Hungry Jacks national marketing director, Paul Tredinnick joining the rival fast food chain.

The news follows the appointment of CommunicationsCouncil CEO Margaret Zabel, who will join the business in the newly created VP of marketing role.

Tredinnick has been with Hungry Jacks for two years and in that time also was co-founder and marketing director of Hipp Future which has developed and markets a bottled water called Hipp Flask Spring Water which is in a bottle in the shape of a hip flask.

As well as taking on Zabel this year, McDonald's also hired Bronwyn Powell as senior director of marketing to replace Madeleine Fitzpatrick who left the fast food business in July.

Tredinnick is said to have left Hungry Jacks last month but it's unclear when he will join McDonald's.

McDonald's did not respond to AdNew's calls at the time of publication.
