Farmer Wants a Wife finale attracts 923,000 metro viewers

The Farmer Wants a Wife

Last night’s season finale for Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife topped the night for entertainment programs.

The episode attracted 923,000 metro viewers for Seven, according to OzTam numbers. Another 549,000 regional viewers tuned in for a national audience of 1.472 million.

The launch of Farmer Wants a Wife last month attracted 908,000 metro viewers and 492,000 regional viewers for a national audience to 1.4 million.

“We’ve reinvented our 2020 entertainment schedule with proven, powerful formats and Farmer Wants A Wife has continued the ratings momentum created by our relaunch of Big Brother,” says Angus Ross, Seven’s network programming director.

“Number one nationally, major growth in key demos and streaming numbers that have kept 7plus number one – it’s a multi-platform winner.”

Last night’s finale was followed by Ten’s The Masked Singer in ratings. The singing competition pulled in 786,000 metro viewers and another 282,000 regional viewers.

Nine’s The Block attracted 738,000 metro viewers and another 215,000 regional viewers.
