SYDNEY: NSW Department of Fair Trading has appointed Naked Communications to devise a campaign to raise awareness of the NSW Government’s new residential tenancy laws.

Naked will handle strategy, ideas and execution, and will work with the NSW Government's media agency, MediaCom, to make “tenancy reform irresistable’ to the people of NSW.

“This is a critical and high profile campaign for Fair Trading and we couldn’t be more excited about getting involved," said Naked's head of communications strategy Ian Perrin. "It is further proof that our model of using psychological insights and understanding behavioural change is resonating with clients. It was a very thorough pitch process and we are chuffed that our solutions were so well received and are looking forward to activating them.”

NSW Fair Trading safeguards consumer rights and advises business and traders on fair and ethical practice. Unfair practices are investigated and prevented and a licensing system helps ensure unqualified or inappropriate people do not work in a range of NSW industries.
