Former McCann managing director Adam Lee has resurfaced as the chief customer and marketing officer of health care fund RT Health.

Lee exited McCann as the agency restructured under the new leadership of CEO Nicole Taylor in September 2018.

He now leads the marketing team at the non-for-profit organisation, joining the business this month.

Prior to his departure, Lee had been at McCann for three years, joining from TBWA. During his time at the IPG-owned agency, its revenue grew 40% between 2014-16 and won its first Cannes Lions in 10 years.

In a statement to AdNews, Lee said: "I immediately liked its story, heritage, values and purpose.

"I was also attracted to this role because, after a career in agency roles, this provided something very different and - quite frankly- challenging. Going client side will be a big learning curve for me - and I am excited by that.

"I'm also excited to be working with RT's team of talented executives led by CEO, Simone Tregeagle."

McCann Sydney is yet to name Lee's replacement.
