Digital advertising company RadiumOne has appointed Marlene Vicaire as marketing director Asia Pacific - one of six new hires joining the rapidly growing automated marketing company.

RadiumOne has also taken on former programmatic trading manager at Microsoft Media Network, Tommy Roscio, as its commercial operations strategist. He arrived at Microsoft in 2013 just as the business started to focus on programmatic trading and move its display and video media buying to a real-time bidding environment, using the App Nexus platform.

San Francisco-founded RadiumOne, which launched in Sydney less than 12 months ago, has expanded from its single first employee, MD Kerry McCabe, to a fully fledged team of 16.

Vicaire joins RadiumOne from DDB’s customer experience agency RAPP, where she was most recently programmatic marketing director.

Her previous roles in Australia were also with the DDB Australia Group as programmatic strategy and execution director. Here she led Telstra’s programmatic marketing team winning the Silver Effie 2013 for Best Digital Platform, and Silver ADMA 2013 for best Target Campaign.

Vicaire has also worked at GroupM and Razorfish, and consulted in online marketing and e-commerce for a range of brands including Rexel, L'Occitane en Provence and Fujitsu.

“It’s exciting to be joining the rapidly growing RadiumOne team,” Vicaire said.
“My mission will be to further expand our unique offering, and share our success in delivering uplifting, measurable and efficient campaigns across the APAC region.”

McCabe, who is also director of UN LTD, a not-for-profit foundation representing the media, marketing and advertising industry, said the company’s latest growth burst has relied upon attracting a diverse mix of talent and skill-sets from across the buzzing Australian industry.

He said Vicaire brings a strong understanding of the real business challenges CMOs are facing in Australia, particularly around data and technology enabled marketing.

"Marlene’s track record in creating and delivering end to end digital marketing projects is impressive. What’s more, she has a genuine passion for the role technology plays in driving great marketing outcomes,” McCabe said.

RadiumOne collects and interprets data on consumer's preference and intent by analysing what they're sharing online. It then provides advertisers and publishers with the opportunity to act on this knowledge in real time.

As its market presence across brands, agencies and publishers has grown, the company has experienced a rapid expansion of its sales, client services and campaign implementation teams.

In addition to Vicaire and Roscio, four additional new hires will join the business this month.

Alex Hunt and Lucy Wadsworth will take on roles as sales managers; Robert Delaney is a new account manager and Eryk Koziol will be a campaign manager.
