DDB Melbourne has named Kate Sterling as group managing director as part of an overhaul of its structure.

Sterling was previously part of the DDB Group running the ANZ Bank business in Melbourne but most recently has been managing director at Penso.

She replaces Dave Brown who has left the group.

DDB Group Australia CEO Andrew Little says: “As part of our commitment to the growth and evolution of our business, we have undertaken a recent management restructure and Kate will succeed Dave Brown as Group MD.

“Dave this week has left the business and we would like to thank him for his dedication and commitment during his tenure and wish him well with his future ventures.

“We are delighted Kate is returning to DDB Melbourne. She has proven herself an outstanding, driven and entrepreneurial business leader and I believe one of the best the industry has to offer. Kate is a true champion of diversity, innovation and growth.”

She has also previously worked client side at Seek.
