Data and Branded Content added to the AdNews Agency of the Year

Have you got what it takes to be the AdNews Agency of the Year 2014? Entry to the awards is now open, and there are two new categories to recognise great work using data and branded content.

Cummins&Partners was named last year’s AdNews Agency of the Year – who can take the trophy this year?

The new Best use of Data and Branded Content Awards have been introduced to reflect the changing nature of the work agencies and brands are creating, the ever growing role that data plays and the shift towards creating content – not just campaigns.

There are 21 categories, including 11 agency awards, two network awards and three campaign awards.

Get ready to throw your hat into the ring for NSW Agency of the Year, Victorian Agency of the Year, State Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year, Direct Agency of the Year, Digital Agency of the Year, Specialist Agency of the Year, Independent Agency of the Year, Small Agency of the Year, PR Agency of the Year and Emerging Agency of the Year.

There are also gongs up for grabs for Advertising Network of the Year, Media Network of the Year, Media Campaign of the Year, Digital Campaign of the Year, Ad Campaign of the Year and Ad of the Year.

The Game Changer Award, The UN LTD Award, and pivotal AdNews Agency of the Year will also be named at the Awards Presentation Dinner at The Pavilion, Darling Harbour, Sydney, on Thursday 5 March, 2015.

The criteria has also evolved this year to better reflect the integration of channels and the proliferation of digital, mobile and social.

To be in with a chance of winning the recognition of the industry and your peers, entries have to be in by 20 January. Winners also earn points that count towards the AdNews Agency Rankings.

The 2014 inductee to the AdNews Hall of Fame will also be revealed at the awards ceremony, joining last year’s inductee Rob Morgan, chairman of Clemenger, and previous recipients John Singleton, Harold Mitchell and Peter Clemenger.
Entries are open now. Watch Rob Morgan's acceptance speech here.

The entry kit is available here. The closing deadline is 20 January, so get on with it!

Nine Entertainment Co is our major sponsor and AdNews has also partnered with Adstream, Facebook, Think TV, Gumtree, IAB, NOVA, Ipsos, Val Morgan, Bluestar and RoyalAuto.
