Cummins&Partners Sydney has secured its first win for 2019, taking over book publisher Hachette Australia's creative work.

Part of global publishing house Hachette Livre, the Australian arm has an extensive programme for 2019, with new books from Malala Yousafzai and Australia's Peter FitzSimons.

It has previously published books by JK Rowling and Neil Gaiman.

Hachette Australia managing director Justin Ractliffe says the agency was selected to provide it with a new approach for its creative.

“We thought hard about the agency partner we wanted to work with to help us achieve this and Cummins&Partners demonstrated the fresh thinking, talent and energy we were looking for,” Ractliffe said.

Cummins&Partners Sydney MD Kirsty Muddle says it looks forward to the challenge of working with the brand, adding it's already begun creative development.
