Clemenger Sydney has lured its chief strategy officer back to Australia, poaching Lilian Sor from Grey London.

She returns to Australia after a six year stint in the UK where she was head of strategy at Grey London for 18 months and strategy director and head of strategy innovation at AMV BBDO for four years.

Prior to her time overseas, Sor held roles at Host Sydney, CX agency Lavender and Westpac.

“It’s wonderful to be home in both Sydney and at BBDO. The Australian advertising industry has always been characterised as being at the forefront of innovation and creativity, and the hunger, drive and passion that I see at Clemenger with Nick, Emily and the team is standout," Sore says.

This is the first major hire from Nick Garrett, who recently expanded his CEO role to cover both Sydney and Melbourne.

“I couldn’t be happier that Lilian has made the move back home and joined the team in Sydney. She’s undoubtedly one of Australia’s best strategic minds and has come in to not only lead the strategy department, but importantly, to make an important contribution in transforming the Sydney business in to an agency that’s fit for the future," Garrett says.
