Charlotte Valente joins Big Red Group

Former APN Outdoor general manager of marketing Charlotte Valente has joined the Big Red Group (BRG) as general manager for its B2B division.

Charlotte left the out of home business as it was being acquired by JCDecaux last year, along with other senior people in the company.

In her new role she heads up Marketics, the distributor of Albert AI marketing technology in Australia and New Zealand, and the group’s workplace experiences product Redii

BRG sees the hire of Charlotte as a key development, with corporate sales representing a huge growth opportunity for the company in the growing experience economy.

“Ultimately what we’re selling at the Big Red Group is engagement - and engagement is the key to all growth,” Valente says.

“B2B brings with it a whole host of challenges and opportunities, and I am genuinely excited to lead the team as we deliver world-class marketing and employee engagement solutions to businesses across Australia and New Zealand.”

BRG co-founder Naomi Simson said Valente’s appointment also recognising the “enormous” opportunity ahead for both AI marketing technology and the continued focus businesses are putting on people.

“I’m pleased to have a GM on board of the calibre of Charlotte to help deliver more meaningful programs to Australian businesses,” Simson says.
