Carat Melbourne has secured $23 million in new and retained business in the first quarter of this year, including contract wins for the NGO Baptcare and vaccine company Seqirus.

The media agency retained the business of Australia’s largest superannuation provider AustralianSuper, dairy co-op Devondale Murray Goulburn and Danone's dairy division.

"The retention of these key clients comes down to Carat’s commitment to delivering tangible business value beyond the scope of media alone," managing director Joseph Pardillo says.

"We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to continue the great working relationship we have enjoyed to date with these market-leading brands."

Carat is also pitching for cruise liner company Carnival Australia in a media review that also includes Havas, Vizeum and incumbent MediaCom.

This year, Carat Australia was named the AdNews Media Network of the Year.
