Cannes Lions speakers announced

Marketers from Mars, Unilever and Mondelez have been confirmed as speakers for the Cannes Lions, while Mindy Kaling will also make a celebrity appearance.

They are part of the first round of speakers for the festival which takes place at Palais des Festivals over 18-25 June.

The first confirmed speakers at the event include Mars global CMO Bruce McColl, Unilever chief marketing officer Keith Weed and Mondelez global CMO Dana Anderson, according to UK’s The Drum.

DDB president and CEO for North America Wendy Clark will also speak at the event and BBDO global CCO David Lubars.

From outside the marketing circle, Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins will speak at the event, along with Warrior Poets founder Morgan Spurlock. Curious Film executive producer Peter Grasse will also be in attendance as will The Mindy Project star and creator Mindy Kaling.

Speakers will also include health industry experts Novartis, McCann Health and Declara, along with innovators from Harvard Business School, Isobar and withinlink.
