News Corp's managing director for digital revenue Cameron King is exiting the business after 10 years.

King is also stepping down from his role as chair of the IAB Australia Board to “pursue new career opportunities”.

“It’s the right time for me to look at opportunities beyond News,” King said.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved and know that I leave the business in great shape. I wish the team continued success for the future.”

King joined News Corp in 2008, playing a key role in developing the business' digital advertising business, leading its commercial strategy, advertiser product offering and sales enablement.

He has been the IAB chair since May 2018 when he replaced Nicole Sheffield who left to join Australia Post.

News Corp Australia’s chief operating officer of publishing Damian Eales said King has been a great contributor to the company.

“King’s leadership has had a significant impact on our digital operations,” Eales said.

“I understand and respect his decision to seek opportunities beyond News and wish him well for the future.”
