Bohemia has hired Ikon Communications digital director Johnny Style to head up its digital team.

Style will take on the same role at Bohemia. Earlier this year Bohemia won the $54 million media account for Lion and was reported to be looking for 17 staff up to service the account.

Style had been with Ikon Sydney since January 2011, and he leaves the agency in somewhat of an upswing on the back of what is believed to be a digital-led strategy.

Ikon has recently retained the $60 million CommBank account, won UK online sports retailer Wiggle, and Australian wine brand Yellow Tail. All three wins are understood to be heavily based on digital nous with clients impressed with the work Ikon's digital team had shown.
